"This box just sounds tight & right over just about anything. You can squeeze the sh*t out of drum tracks or add air to an acoustic guitar. I have tried it over anything and everything and it behaves itself even with ridiculous settings. The build quality is superb: XLR in/outs and the meter/switches & knobs all function as per design specs. The added turbo mod is a real bonus & the sidechain high pass filter isn't a tacky gimmick, It actually works and is very useful. The signal to noise specs are respectable. It's a fantastic compressor and for the price I am seriously considering buying another."

"I've taken a listen to the compressor today. I love it. It's very difficult to make it sound bad. Having the side chain was an excellent idea. It sounds like a compressor 3x the price. It doesn't sound like a Smart C2 as a C2 has a more ditinctive character. I think this would be great for mastering due to it being so musical and transparent. It is definitely a better sounding bus compressor than my Avalon 747 and DBX 160 SL. It is definitely 1000x better than the A Designs Nail. I tried it on some material that the 160 didn't sound musical on. It handled it perfectly. I think this piece of gear will work on anything you throw at it. Thanks for making such a great piece of gear. This is now my favourite bus compressor."
